A Free Restorative Yoga Class: January 25, 2026 | 5:00 PM CST
Last night the snow came quietly.
The kind that softens the world.
The kind that makes the streetlights glow a little warmer.
The kind that asks nothing of us except:
Stay home. Slow down. Be still.
Across the Midwest, roads are closing, plans are canceling, and calendars are suddenly… empty.
And maybe, just maybe, that’s not an inconvenience.
Maybe it’s an invitation.
An invitation to pause.
To breathe.
To remember what it feels like to do nothing without guilt.
For so many of us, rest only happens when something forces it.
A snowstorm.
A power outage.
A canceled meeting.
We rarely choose stillness on our own.
We wait until life corners us into it.
But what if stillness isn’t the thing that happens when life stops…
What if stillness is the practice?
Yoga was never just about stretching or sweating.
At its heart, it’s this:
Learning how to be at ease right where you already are.
And this weekend, we’re already there.
Home.
Warm.
Nowhere to rush off to.
So instead of fighting the weather…
Let’s lean into it.
Let’s gather from our living rooms, our bedrooms, our blankets and fireplaces and rest together.
Not alone.
Together.
